Student Dormitory

MISU is able to offer program participants single apartments in student housing facilities in residence halls. The student housing facilities are located mostly within close proximity to subway stations (public transportation) with fast connection  to the university, which is located near the center of Munich.

The students will reside in apartments. The anticipated cost for a single-bed student apartment is € 360. Please keep in mind that the rooms are of a modest standard. A € 50 security deposit upon arrival in Munich is required.


The rooms are equipped with a bathroom and a small kitchen where meals can be prepared. Sheets and blankets will also be provided and can be cleaned at one of the building’s laundry rooms.

Towels and kitchen utensils, however are not included.  We ask that you acquire these items according to your own personal needs.

Public Transportation

Students are advised to purchase a monthly ticket - ISARCARD – on their date of arrival. This will allow them to conveniently use bus, tram and subway. For more information and prices, please consult  MVV. 

Board

During your stay, you will be responsible for your own meals.  Lunch can be purchased at the one of the university’s cafeterias for € 3-5. Please let us know in advance if students require a special diet. We will be able to provide some additional resources.
