In the summer of 2009, Munich International Summer University of LMU Munich will provide a European Studies course with Intercultural Communication training for students from the gulf region. 

This course is open to individual students, as well as to student and faculty groups from university level institutions.

The program will complement the LMU alliances with other Arab universities such as the German University of Cairo (Egypt) and German Jordan University (Jordan).

The European Studies program takes place in one of Europe's safest cities and at one of its leading universities. Program benefits include university tutors and around the clock dormitory staff.

We will ensure that students enjoy the classes which are based on an interdisciplinary approach. Focus in this course is the historical development, the economic, societal and political dimensions of the European integration project. Furthermore, we will take a closer look at the motives of sovereign states and their individual role as actors in shaping European policies.
